Meet Peggy________________________________________
“Hi, my name is Peg. Of the 30 years I’ve been in dentistry, the 10 years I’ve been Dr. Sutton’s dental assistant have been my most educational. He provides us with so many opportunities to improve our skills, such as courses at LVI, that I am always learning something new. I am so committed to my job because I see how committed Dr. Sutton is to his patients. This practice is so special because everyone really takes the time to help patients feel at ease, to discover their dental needs and how we can help them achieve their dental goals. I try my best to inform our patients about the possibilities available today to create beautiful and healthy smiles. I enjoy pampering our patients and making sure they get the best possible dental care. Family is a very important part of my life – I am very close to my grown son and daughter and my 5-yr-old grandson and spend as much time as possible with them. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening and just living life.”
Meet Nina
“Hello, I’m Nina. I attended CFCC where I received my Dental Assisting Certificate. I have also attended several courses at LVI with Dr. Sutton. As one of Dr. Sutton’s dental assistants, it is my job to make your treatment run as smoothly as possible and that you have all the information you need to make decisions about your dental care. I love to learn the latest in technology, such as digital photography, and apply it to dentistry. I chose the dental field because I wanted to be able to help make a difference for people, and I help make that difference every day when our team is able to help our patients smile for a lifetime. I have a lot of respect for Dr. Sutton because although he takes a lot of advanced courses, he allows his patients to choose the type of dentistry they want – he is never pushy. When I’m not at work, I’m devoting time to Lee and our children, Lee Jr. and Kaylie. We are all kept busy with our Boston Terrier, Molly, and her two puppies, Whisper and Bear.”
Meet Stacy
“Hi, my name is Stacy. I always knew I wanted to be in dentistry and have been in the field for over 13 youthful years. I received my education from the Community College Tech in Minnesota and the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville – and continue to pursue knowledge through advanced courses, such as those at LVI. As one of Dr. Sutton’s Patient Care Specialists, it is my job to ensure that your visits with us are comfortable and that all your needs are met. What inspires me is the ability to calm the fears of nervous patients and helping them to pursue dental health – and then seeing their happiness with their new, healthy smile. Our team is so friendly and experienced that patients who initially come to us with apprehension are soon very comfortable and actually enjoy their visits with us. I love spending time with my son, Cole, and shopping, shopping, and shopping.”
Meet Sheri _
“Hello, I’m Sheri, RDH. I began my dental career as a dental assistant and then pursued my AS in Dental Hygiene shortly after. Dentistry was a natural choice for me because I love working with people. I have been with Dr. Sutton for over 10 of my 17 years as a hygienist and have really found a second family here. I am proud of the excellent dentistry Dr. Sutton provides and that he is just as committed to providing a great experience for his patients. I thrive on being able to provide everything from disease prevention to smile makeovers for our patients. I enjoy working out, fishing, shopping and treasure the time I spend with my husband, son and daughter.”
Meet Carin
“Hi, my name is Carin, RDH, and I’m one of Dr. Sutton’s experienced and caring dental hygienists. I received my AS in Dental Hygiene from Santa Fe Community College over a decade ago and continue to take courses every year in order to stay abreast of the current advances in dentistry. I really enjoy the warm, friendly atmosphere in our office – and sharing that atmosphere with our patients. Dr. Sutton is a true professional and provides exceptional dentistry, so I feel confident when discussing treatment options with our patients. Most rewarding is the quality time I can devote to getting to know our patients, informing them about the health of their teeth and gums, and helping them achieve optimum health. My husband, son and I will be welcoming a new baby this year. Our cat, KC, makes our family complete.”
Meet Britt
“Hi, my name is Britt, RDH. I received my Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene from Santa Fe Community College. I have spent the last five of my ten years as a dental hygienist with Dr. Sutton. I know our patients benefit from the warm, friendly atmosphere and the teamwork that ensures they receive the best possible care. And I know they will appreciate Dr. Sutton’s sense of humor! I enjoy reading, fitness and sports. In addition to our two dogs, my husband and I are expecting a son to join our family in late 2005.”
Meet Amanda
“Hello, I’m Amanda, RDH. I chose a career in dentistry because I had great dental experiences as a child and I desired to help others achieve a positive attitude toward their own oral health and actually enjoy going to the dentist. Dr. Sutton is a man of integrity which is a vital component in a solid doctor-patient relationship. He is dedicated to providing optimum care for his patients through a combination of a caring, skilled team and the most up-to-date techniques and materials. I married my high school sweetheart, Eric, and we have a wonderful dog, Princess, adopted from the Ocala Animal Shelter. My hobbies are centered around my husband and my family – we enjoy game night, camping and riding four wheelers together.”
Meet Valerie _
“Hi, my name is Valerie and I am the Business Administrator for the practice. I enjoy all the changes and new advancements that dentistry has to offer and I love that Dr. Sutton continually attends courses so our patients can benefit from these advancements. I feel confident talking to patients about their care because I know that Dr. Sutton recommends treatment to his patients as he would his own family. I also enjoy my job because I get to share my time at work with such a talented team of professionals who are all committed to the same goal of ensuring that our patients have the best possible experience while receiving the best possible care. When not at work, I love spending time with my husband and our three daughters.”
